Kitchener woman arrested for allegedly entering unlocked apartment units

Kitchener Post

A Kitchener woman has been arrested in relation to a series of residential and commercial break and enters.

The incidents happened in mid to late January. During one incident, a woman was captured on surveillance video inside an employee area of a Kitchener Tim Hortons, taking staff property.

On Jan. 24, a woman was observed, again on surveillance video, entering unlocked units in a Kitchener apartment building.

Investigators were able to identify a suspect with information received from the public. On Feb. 16 they issued a search warrant at a Victoria Street South residence, where they found stolen property.

The woman has been charged with multiple offences including break and enter, trafficking stolen property, use of a stolen credit card and possession of stolen property.
