February 12
A police raid at a Weber Street home led to the arrest of at least six people.
Tactical officers surrounded the house Tuesday morning. The standoff lasted for several hours before police were able to enter the house and make several arrests.
The incident sprung from an armed robbery in Hamilton, police say.  A request for assistance from Hamilton police led Waterloo Region officers to the house on Weber Street.
Hamilton police are continuing to investigate the original armed robbery.

February 12
A single-family home on Sims Estate Drive was broken into by unknown suspects, according to Waterloo Regional Police.
Property was stolen, but no one was home at the time of the robbery.
Police are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 519-650-8500 ext. 4499.

February 12
Police were called to a home on College Street after a man was observed entering a garage.
Upon arrival, police say they discovered a man who was in possession of stolen property and illegal drugs.
A 30-year-old St. Jacobs man was arrested in connection with the incident. He was charged with break and enter, theft and possession of a controlled substance.

February 9
A pharmacy on Belmont Avenue was broken into at about 5:40 a.m., according to police.
An unknown number of suspects broke a window, entered the pharmacy and stole property, police say.
A man was seen running from the scene. He is described as 6’ tall with a slim build, wearing a dark, three-quarter length jacket with a hood.
Anyone with information is asked to call North Division detectives at 519-650-8500 ext. 6399.

February 7
A 31-year-old man was stabbed during a fight at Market Square on Frederick Street, according to police.
A fight between two men broke out at about 2 p.m. A 25-year-old Kitchener man allegedly brandished a weapon and a 31-year-old man was stabbed, police say.
The suspect fled on foot but was arrested a short distance from the scene. The victim was transported to hospital, where he was treated and released.
The 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and weapons offences in connection with the incident.
