Road rage led to crash, police say

Kitchener Post staff

Police say road rage may be to blame after a crash Nov. 17 between a Volkswagen and a Hyundai.

According to police, there was a minor altercation between the two drivers at the corner of Westmount Road and Ottawa Street. Both vehicles continued driving on Ottawa Street, where police say the Volkswagen was seen intentionally hitting the Hyundai twice, nearly sending it into oncoming traffic.

Nobody was injured in the incident although both vehicles sustained minor damage.

A 52-year-old Kitchener man was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
