The KW Sertoma Speed Skating Club is hosting the provincial championships this weekend at RIM Park in Waterloo.

Approximately 165 athletes from across the province are competing for a spot on the provincial team.

KW Sertoma is also celebrating its 50th anniversary with a ceremony Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The mayors of Kitchener and Waterloo, past-presidents of the club and Sertoma’s founder will be in attendance.
