You’re off the island! Like a reality show for artists, the Brush Off at TheMuseum invites audience members to vote on artists competing against each other.
The Brush Off is a live-painting competition in which more than 20 artists participate in themed rounds.
In order to move to the next round, artists must earn the votes from the audience. After five rounds, one artist becomes the winner and receives a grand prize.
All works created throughout the evening — more than 40 — are auctioned off to audience members.
Proceeds from the sale of art are shared by the artists and TheMuseum.
“This is event is a wonderful way for local artists to support TheMuseum and likewise, for TheMuseum to support local artists,” said CEO David Marskell.
“It’s a win-win and a ton of fun.”
