An incredible experience for both film buffs and music aficionados, Joan of Arc is coming to Centre in the Square.
The Passion of Joan of Arc is a silent film made in 1928 and considered by some critics to be one of the best 10 movies of all time.
This story of a brave young woman’s trial and execution will be screened at Centre in the Square with live accompaniment from the Grand Philharmonic Choir, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and Tactus Vocal Ensemble.
The music is Richard Einhorn’s composition, Voices of Light.
Sold-out crowds jumped to their feet when this was shown in New York City.
There is also a pre-concert talk by Andrew Hunt about the movie and its history, beginning at 6:45 p.m.
